Chris & Christine welcome you to the family run Black Bull on Lowercroft Road near Bury. After a fantastic first twelve months we celebrated our 1st Anniversary in March, and soon after we are celebrating in style. At a prestigious Awards ceremony in Cheshire we won the Daniel Thwaite's "Best Investment Pub of the Year Award", and to follow this up we were judged as the overall winners of the most prestigious award of the day - "Thwaite's Pub of the Year"! This award recognises outstanding standards across all areas of the business. We also received the Runners Up award for Best Customer Service.
Landlords Chris and Christine, who were unfortunately away at the time, gleamed: "This is a fantastic achievment after only one year of opening. We have a superb team of staff here who have all helped to make the pub what it is today and we are very proud of them all. This award recognises the fantastic food provided by our 4 chefs, lead by Head Chef John, together with our exceptional bar and waiting on staff who provide a level of customer service second to none".
